DANCE PARTIES
December
Friday, December 5th, 8:00pm,
please join us for our Annual Christmas Dance. The dress is
semi-formal. Admission is $10.00 per person, includes light hors
d’oeuvres. No partner necessary.
Saturday, December 6th, 7:30pm, Teen Christmas Dance. The dress is
semi-formal. Admission is $5.00 per person, includes snacks. No partner
necessary.
We will have Friday dances through the Holidays on December 19th and
December 26th.
Wednesday, December 31st, 9:00pm. Come ring in the New Year with good
friends and good tunes. We will offer heavy hors d’oeuvres and a
sparkling toast at midnight. The Dance Floor is the place to be when the
clock strikes twelve. Reservations preferred. The cost is $20 per person.
No partner necessary.
NEW CLASSES - December
Thursdays in December, 7:00pm,
Newcomers Rhythm class, $5 per class. We will concentrate on a
different dance each week. See calendar for class listing. No partner
necessary.
Thursdays in December, 8:00pm, New Rhythm Workout. Come try a new
workout that uses various latin techniques and styling. This workout will
help in your latin dances as well as help tone your body. Cost is $5.00
per class.
New teen ballroom classes will begin throughout the month. Please see
management to confirm your attendance in these classes.
PRIVATE LESSONS
– provide individual instruction for one
person or couple to help them reach their goals more quickly and may be
scheduled days, evenings or weekends. Please see management for more
details.
GROUP LESSONS
– offer a chance to learn steps in many
different dances. Group classes are offered in
6-week blocks to give the
individual an opportunity to learn a given dance and not feel rushed.
Group lessons are BEGINNER 1, INTERMEDIATE 2 and ADVANCE 1 & 2. For those
who have been in the ballroom dance environment Beginner 1 equals Bronze 1
level classes and Intermediate 2 equals Bronze level 2 & 3 classes,
Advance 1 & 2 equals Silver level classes.
STUDIO RENTAL – The
Dance Floor can be rented for private parties as well as individuals
renting the floor to practice their dancing.
